What could be better than preparing a delicious piece of meat in your own garden, while enjoying a glass of wine? Rolf can't think of a better way to spend his time: 'I love experimenting with new dishes on my Quoco. Preferably with a lot of family and friends around.

People are getting together less and less. Something Quoco owner Rolf Hamers objects to: "Nowadays, people prefer an evening on the couch to getting together with friends or family. I don't understand that. I myself am a real sociable person.'

The cheerful entrepreneur also has a fascination for fire: 'Fire has something magical. It's like a beautiful woman. It enchants you and at the same time you can burn your fingers on it.'

With those thoughts in mind, the 'Quoco concept' bubbled up. Since its inception in 2017, Quoco has introduced over a hundred unique products to the market; each one designed in-house, of high quality and made from sustainable materials. Something Hamers is only too proud of: 'So many new barbecues, outdoor kitchens, fireplaces and garden furniture in such a short time. I would never have dared dream that.'

There are also plenty of goals for the near future. Hamers likes to put the newest showpiece of Quoco, the Piazza, on the map: 'This bbq distinguishes itself by its round shapes and can be used with charcoal, briquettes and wood. It has a pleasant height to cook on and to watch the flames. The Piazza is truly a gem in itself.

Love for design

Since its founding in 2017, Quoco has introduced over a hundred unique products to the market; each one designed by himself, made of sustainable materials and of high quality. Especially the latter is something Rolf finds important: "From childhood I have been a lover of design. Products have to look beautiful and sleek. Especially if they are mine.

Fascination with fire

Rolf has a fascination with fire: "Fire has something magical. It's like a beautiful woman. It enchants you and at the same time you can burn your fingers on it. What's more, I love to light a nice fire.'

Need to be together

People are spending less and less time together. It's a development that offends Rolf: "Nowadays, people prefer an evening on the couch to getting together with friends or family. I don't understand that. I'm really a sociable person myself. With Quoco, I want to bring people together again.
